My whole point wasnt about the spending, who cares!! My point was that you cant always go after players to "light a fire underneath them", it doesnt work with everyone. And hes going to go after the wrong person, and its going to back fire in his face one day.

And Steinbrenner IS an idiot, I'm not a Yankee *****, I'm a Steinbrenner *****, while he's paying too much on a team, that's making less fortunate teams have to forfeit players for next to nothing, and I really won't cry about it, it's not like Georgie is breaking any rules, it's just the way of the game, and unfortunately he's one of the front runners in what's bringing this game to it's knees, and not even making a successful effort in the process to boot!
