Re: Which games are you getting? & Release Dates
Which game will have the deepest franchise mode?
That feature makes all sports games. Since WSB, AS, HH, and MVP all have franchise modes which one is deepest. Loved HH for the PC but graphics and gameplay are killing me.

Right now, its a coin flip for me between ASB and WSB. I think I'll buy ASB from EB and if I like it, I'll keep it. If I don't, trade it in and get WSB. Both for ps2 BTW
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
I think that's how I am too...except on X-Box
I think I am torn between ASB 2004 and WSB 2k3....ASB is tempting cuz it is out right now, and I don't know if I can wait.
One thing that is really making me consider ASB is that it has collision detection on HR's. They bounce around rather than disappearing. That and Player Scaling. I know graphics aren't everything, but I like seeing and being able to tell the difference between Mo Vaughn and Ichiro. Plus, I loved last year's ASB (even though it was a homer-fest) on PS2, so this year's should be even better on X-box.
However, WSB brings the ESPN license to the table, and that looks really impressive. Really, I think the player scaling (or lack thereof) is what is turning WSB down for me.Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a ttoal jmulbe and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.
