    I don't think Maddux's playoff record for the Cubs really hurts him. He only pitched one playoff game for the Cubs against the Giants in 1989 and I can still see the pitch he threw Will Clark in Game 1. I yelled, "Oh No!" before the ball was halfway to the plate. He completely groved it and Clark sent it way out of Wrigley.

    As far as Millwood goes....he had a great year last year, but he really stunk it up the two previous years so I wouldn't say he would be lock for 200 IP and a ERA under 3.00.

      Check out this link. Go to the bottom and check out Maddux Post Season ERA, it's not his fault the Braves can't score runs in the playoffs.

      And check out this one. Millwood has had 2 very good years, but they pale in comparison to pretty much any year you can pick in the last 15 of Maddux's.

      I think some of you just don't realize how good Maddux has been. I think you have too impressed by a big fastball instead of results.
