Re: High Heat Sightings and First Impressions here...

I don't want to fan the flames on this reported 2-out scoring issue, but i was reading the boards at IGN and some guy said he experienced and and asked if anyone else did. It even cost him the game cause it was the 9th inning. He honestly didn't sound like he was trolling; i doubt he had any prior knowledge of these reports. He was simply asking if anyone else has seen it.

While the IGN board are hardly a haven for reputable posters, I personally am not saying it doesnt exist. I am just saying I haven't seen it yet. If I do come across it, I will let you guys know as I am sure Cook will also.

I wasn't bashing the game about millar...just answering a previous question, trying to be helpful, and have one less question you mods have to answer

I am suprised merloni didn't make it though. He's been on our team enough.
Benny and Daubach are scabs, so they can't be in the game, same with reed....contreras and Matsui probably didn't join the union in time to be included. At least they gave us subs to edit the names......

Do I just edit another guy into Millar? I found the edit/create screen, but can only edit...am I missing it?

Last one: anyone been in a game with alternate unis yet? Mets in black, something like that....I hope they're included, even if we can't pick them.

No, you're right, there is a lot of noise and trolling at IGN, but this guy was very sincere in his posting. You can usually tell when someone is just trying to be an ***. Here's the post word for word:

Subject: High Heat 2004 - Serious Bug. Anyone else see this?
"I was using the Rangers against the Red Sox, tied 6-6 in the bottom of the 9th, the computer had runners on 2nd and 3rd with two out. I decided to pitch to Nomar and got him to hit a popup. The runner on 3rd crossed home before my shortstop caught the ball for the 3rd out. They counted the run and I lost. This sucks. "

He only has 3 posts, so it could be a troll, and this whole thing is being blown out of proportion. Let's hope so.

I havent played with the player creation stuff so I can't answer your question on that stuff. I think there were a few guys they left out, Keith Lockhart, Tom Davey on the Padres to name a few.

I played the Mariners in an exhibition game and they wore their blue/aqua jerseys. I am pretty sure this is their alternate jersey..

I hope it's being blown out of proportion and I am somewhat skeptical of those types of posts until I hear it from someone I know. That being said, and knowing 3do's past performance when it comes to QA on their games, I really wouldn't be that surprised if this bug exists in some form or another.

Anyone remember the Wrigley Field bug in the PC version a few years ago.
