Yeah, I could do that, but it would cost me $40 a month plus $21.95 for dial-up instead of paying $30 a month for broadband only. I think I will get roadrunner and Live when the new football games are released. I might be able to pay $100 and void the contract, I think that is the deal if you are in the last year of a 3 year agreement. I will definitely check it out. It's hard to gauge how good you are at games when you only play the AI!

In case that was hard to understand, you can sign up for DSL if you have a contract with MSN, but you pay like $50 a month instead of $30. I would rather pay the $100 termination fee to be done with MSN. It is just a poor ISP IMO!
I appreciate the advice Fetter and will look into switching, dial-up is a joke anymore and MSN's browser is not the least bit impressive!Comment

What up BK? Hey bro, I have thought about getting a sharkport, but never pulled the trigger. It's worth the $$$ huh? I will definitely take your word for it.
On a side note, how much better do you think the xbox version will be? I am contemplating finally getiing an xbox, but have yet to commit.Comment

Re: High Heat Sightings and First Impressions here...
Just bought high heat (cant believe best buy doesnt have it yet) and I have to say I am a little disappointed. The gameplay seems to be there, but the graphics are just so vanilla. I played it last year and enjoyed it, but compared to other sports titles this is pretty embarrassing.
I switched from the old tripl play series because of the unrealistic gameplay, but if WSB has decent gameplay then I will have to seriously think of trading this in. A good game, but just so vanilla.Comment

Hey Howie haven't seen you around here lately.
Do you have XBL?
IF you do get the XBL version. It will have roster downloads, sharper graphics, better frame rate and the bug is gone.
HH version is awesome, but their are some framerate drops and the bug, although I have still not seen the bug. I actually will probably be picking up the XBOX version when it comes out and dumping the PS2 version.
I can't reccomend this game highly enough however.

BK - I don't even have an xbox yet, but I am thinking of getting one with some of the ol' IRS refund.
I usually see eye to eye w/ you on games, so I am willing to go w/ ur advice.
I will probably follow your lead and dump the PS2 version fer the xbox one.Comment
