I feel exactly the same way. I couldn't have put it any better myself. I am going to give it a real shot. The good thing about these games coming out so early is you can give them a real run through before baseball season even starts.

If I were you, since you don't have XBL I would stick with the PS2 version. I have yet to come across the bug, and I barely notice any slowdown. I think the sharkport aspect of it outweighs any advantage of the XBOX version. I have XBL so I will be picking up the XBOX version when it's released however.

This dial up is killing me man! The sharkport was worth every bit of the $30 I paid for it.

now now guys...lets play nice, no reason to attack me. This is a forum, and I was just stating my opinion. I would like to say, that one reason so many people have so many different opinions this year on baseball games is due to the increased effort by companies to make baseball a great video game once and for all. Every title has its own authenticity that makes them unique! These are great times for us as baseball fans, and I had fun with ASB last year, so naturally I'm gonna want to try it out this year. I love the way MVP is looking. I simply despise sega games. And I didn't get what I wanted out of HH. We're all different. We're all in this baseball video game world together, so lets come together, no need ripping each other. I want to enjoy this forum with you guys!

Yeah, having NFL2k3 and NHL2k3 and not having Xbox Live killed me this winter. I would have bought the PS2 network adapter, but with dial up, sports games don't seem like they could run smooth online at all to me. Best Buy is like a fisherman and I grab their bait every chance I get.
