Re: High Heat Sightings and First Impressions here...

Only bug I have encountered is the one pitch, two strike count. It looks like the game is going to cut to a ruling from 1st or 3rd on a check swing and all of the sudden the count is 0-2 after 1 pitch I have seen it twice in about 7 games, but I can live with it.

I can't wait for the xbox version to come out. I've picked up the PS2 HH but I'll probably return it later on this week and reserve the prettier box version. I'm a first time HHter and I'm loving this game. I just need to win one. My Cubs lost to the Cards two str8 last nite, 3-2, 5-1. I'm like Glavine used to be, I get off to bad starts then I cruise the rest of the game. I've been hitting from the pitcher cam but tonite i'm going to try the batter cam, hopefully i'll hit better.

I love that people have good days and bad days.

I had a created player with a 5-0 record and 2.29 era (I play one game each series). I playe dth eYankees and they knocked him out after 2+ innings.

              Even studs fail.

Yes, I picked Womack up in my Mariners and D'Rays franchises. It also seems weird to me that people that start in the FA list don't get picked up quicker. It's the playoff stretch and Chuck Finley is still a FA. Not that I think that Chuck Finley is that great anymore (ten years ago, he could THROW!!), but he's always been thrown out as a playoff/trade deadline guy.

Its funny you mention the Womack thing, cause he was also released in my franchise. Maybe its the CPU logic that does it. I find that alittle weird though.

Bill Abner has mentioned that in 15+ simmed seasons (PC Code), Womack is cut EVERY time.

For some reason, the game is using an evaluation tool for the players that doesn't make a lot of sense to everybody else.
