no kidding Fetter, but as you know, baseball is huge in San Diego. Even if the local team is atrocious.

Yeah, which reminds me that I still need to get tickets for that first set of weekend games here, since they're playing the Dodgers. Those are always fun to go to,Twitter:@Fetter21

Re: High Heat Sightings and First Impressions here...
Just played a classic, Reds at Cubbies. I was up 2-0 heading into the 7th, Cubs score two and get two more after my pitcher pulls his groin covering a base, (ouch, anyone who has suffered this knows what I mean) to go up 4-2 heading to the final frame. Dunn draws a 2 out walk in the bottom of the 9th and Casy comes up. Cubs closer is getting a little wild after throwing 15+ pitches in the 9th. He goes 3-0 on Casey and I'm thinking "He has to throw a strike here, doesn't want the winning run to come to the plate so he'll throw a heater down the middle." So I guess fastball and he grooves a watermelon to me and Casey crushes it to the alley in left-center and it barely clears the fence! Tie game!
We both blow scoring chances in the tenth and they get a man on 2nd with no outs in the 11th. Hard hit ball to deep right, I got a bead on it, I dive and the ball lands a foot from my glove, run scores, game over, but I don't care b/c the game was killa sweet!
For anyone who wants to know why we buy HH games every year, this is why!Comment

Re: High Heat Sightings and First Impressions here...
One thing about HH that i think has been consistant over the years is the Pitchers Accuracy is never the same from game to game. Its frustrating sometimes when you walk a guy on 4 straight pitches, but thats what baseball is all about. Its very real in that aspect, where you can try to pain the corners all day, but in the end, your going to have to put a few strikes over the plate.
I personally havent had any "Bug" trouble as of yet, but so far Ive had pretty good experiences from this years model, and I look forward to comparing it to WSB and MVP.Vi Veri Universum Vivus Vici

Totally agree, this is always done very well. Pitchers have off days, simple as that.Comment

Re: High Heat Sightings and First Impressions here...
Only bug I have encountered is the one pitch, two strike count. It looks like the game is going to cut to a ruling from 1st or 3rd on a check swing and all of the sudden the count is 0-2 after 1 pitchI have seen it twice in about 7 games, but I can live with it.
