SOmeone PLEASE EMAIL 3DO and ask them to fix this score on 3d out bug BEFORE they ship the XBOX ( and PC ) versions before its too late. I wont buy the game if this bug is still there...thats a gamekiller especially when you add up how many runs you will lose to the CPU and how many you will unfairly gain over the cours of a game and entire season!!

Steve_OS has already done that... don't worry.

However, I think they may have already gone gold with the game, and aren't goign back to change anything.

I think that this may be for the PS2 version only anyway, because I think this is because of the blue disc.

Just FYI for those that are waiting to buy the XBox version of the game...3DO's website says that the shipping date is now 3/4/03.

I was wading through this hulk of a thread but am still in the dark on HH. I've read a lot about THE BUG but would like to know more about how the offseason works. I've read that the minor leaguers change their names after each load, but is this before you start a franchise. I would really appreciate if someone would describe how it works. Also, how does the rookie draft work? Will I have a team full of players that all look the same if I sim 20yrs or will I end up with a team full of reincarnated 19 year old Randy Johnsons, Rockets, and Maddux's.

Also, does the stat tracking stay in check?
I've played many sports games that get out of whack stats if I insert created players into a franchise type mode. (ex NCAA FB 2002 and ASB on N64)

Can you change the appearance of a created player to say look like a player not included in the game?

I love the tweaking feature of this game because I know I can tailor this game to fit my playing style. I've played it on PC so I know what to expect in this department.

I am sports gamer to the core and own my share of dust collectors I just hope I can find a baseball game that did for me what NHL2K3 did for me.

Barry Zito Question

Does anyone else think he has terrible command in this game. Every time he takes the mound for me I know I've got my work cut out. It's a struggle to get ANYTHING over the plate - over half his pitches are balls. I've tried changing the sim leve and the pitcher control sim level, but nothing seems to have much effect on his control. I checked his scouting report, and he's suppose to have 90 control. I checked his control bar under the edit menu and its only got 7 bars; I'm thinking about bumping it up.

Has anyone else pitched with Zito?
Doesn't his control seem terrible?

Well I plan on getting the game on Monday. My uncle works for Orkin so the bug doesn't overly concern me.

Another bug I've encountered.

I thought I read that this happened on last year's version too. Men on first and third -- pitcher pitches -- runner on first breaks to steal second -- catcher throws to third and picks off your runner -- even though you had NOT moved him. He just stands there until it's too late to get back. I thought it may have been a one time occurence but three times in a row it happened.

Silliness. The sad thing is I'm loving the game (mostly) outside of a few really annoying glitches.

Cook, there is not bug at all, it is the same great gameply than last year, I even dont't want this game, I'll be returning to get WSB with the Gamestop 7 days policy, but, I really like this game, maybe stay with it, Im 30 years old, so, I don't have time to lie anybodie here, there is not bug.
