Here's my issue with the Hobb's Homerun. I'm speaking about the one into the light tower. Wouldn't you have pitched around him?
Yes, conventional wisdom says:
a) You don't put the winning run on base
b) He's old
c) He's injured
But, at least pitch him differently. Wouldn't you throw him some garbage and see if he'd hold off.

Come on Clay. Think about it... the catcher looked up and saw Roy bleeding through his jersey. He hadn't hit all night and then he's bleeding. They pitched him right. Roy was just too good.
