    WSB vs. HH

I personally think WSB has it all, except being able to bat from the t.v. angle. The graphics are just off the hook. The gameplay seems tight from what i heard, and the commentary should be great. I am not sure if it stacks up to the simulation of HH; however, WSB looks like the best game to get. I just hope i can customize my innings and are there any real celebrations?

I'll chime in and hopefully this thread won't turn into an ugly one.
I haven't played either version yet so this is just what I "think" it will be:
HH= Not much eye candy but the best sim baseball game. Realistic results etc..
    Deep franchise mode.

WSBB= The best eye candy released. Deep franchise mode. Possibly some whacked out stats etc..
More player input that affects outcome of plays and stats which COULD hamper the "realistic" stats.

So basically BOTH games offer different things and pretty much anyone would be justified having them both.

    Just my take...

There-in lies the "wait for game". WSBB could very well not have too bad of stats. If stats are not too whacked or even respectable then WSBB will offer a lot also.

                    Re: WSB vs. HH

There were a lot of gameplay changes to WSB for this year's version, so until people have played it, it's going to be tough to give subjective feedback.

hey fatpitcher, you're the WSB guy right? can u give me a quick rundown of why i should switch to WSB this year? i bought HH last year, but i want some more production value!!! i don't wanna sacrifice too much gameplay, but i would sacrifice a bit if the atmosphere/graphics/sound/etc... in WSB are really superior.

I'm not exactly an objective source.

You can find free user and media reviews for last year's game at gamerankings.com, gamefaqs.com, amazon.com, ebgames.com, baseballsimcentral.com, this site (of course), ign.com and a few other places. Probably the best place to start. There are also some previews and related info for this year's game floating around, mostly at ign.com. There's an interview with the Project Manager at this site; it has a lot of info on what's new and improved this year (though again, it's coming from someone who worked on the game, so take the source into consideration).
