Re: Your greatest moment in a baseball game?

I pitched a perfect game on ps1 Triple Play '97 with the great and powerful Jamie Navarro of the Cubs.

But my greatest game came on high heat 2k2 for PC. Cubs vs. D'Backs. Kerry Wood vs. Randy Johnson. I'm the Cubs. Anyway, Johnson strikes out 21 of my hitters in only 8 2/3 innings of work. Woody gives up 1 hit and k's 15. The best part was that in the bottom of the 9th, with Johnson already with 21 k's and 2 outs, the player I had created as myself (a minor leaguer that was brought up at mid season) smacked an opposite field homer to win the game -- it was my only hit of the game.

Both pitchers pitched a one hitter.

Crazy, but Johnson was voted as the player of the game.

I was the expos. I pitched a no-hitter into the 9th inning with Javier Vazquez but....... the game was tied 0-0 and went into extras... i kept him in and ended up blowin the no-no and even the shutout in the top of the 11.... 1-0 i lost.....STILL My best pitched game, 10 no hit innings

          World Series Baseball 2k1 moments:

World Series, Game 7, bases loaded, two outs, down by three, Rocker on the mound. BDeVoLi hit the game winning grand slam. Wee.

My created player going 5-5 with 4 homeruns, 3 of which were off Ramon Martinez, was nice.

And in the first Griffey Baseball, I had a World Series game in which my pitcher pitched a perfect game & hit a grand slam. I won 4-0. Yeah!

ok, think WAY back to the Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball series. lol. me and my friend were playing a tournament (best out of 7). i was the mariners (back when griffey and arod were on their team), and he was the braves. i was leading the series 3-1 until he came back and won the last two, sending it to a final deciding game. the pitchers were jamie moyer, against tom glavine. the first inning looked like it was going to be a blowout, he scored 7 consecutive runs off jamie moyer in the bottom of the first until i finally decided to yank him. since the first inning, the mariner bullpen pitched 7 innings of no hit work, allowing me to catch up 5-7 in the final inning. he had paul byrd in the game (back when he was a reliever for the braves). byrd sturck out my first two batters, so i was relying on arod. then i start to rally. arod hits a double to left, then edgar martinez hits another double to left scoring arod, making the game 6-7. then comes ken griffey, and wouldnt u know, he hits a homerun! i am winning 8-7. then jay buhner lines out.
Bottom of the 9th, im winning 8-7
he starts off the 9th with a double by otis nixon (one of the fastest in baseball). then michael tucker lines out to right. 1 out. ryan klesko at the plate now. he hits it sharply to the 3rd baseman. ERROR!! but at least he holds the man at 2nd. so now theres a man on 1st and 2nd with 1 out. walt weiss at the plate. he tries to bunt his guys over, but i get nixon out at 3rd. 2 outs, man on first and 2nd for who else but chipper jones. he rips one to center field! ryan klesko is rounding third! but he is trying to test Griffeys arm in his own game! lol. griffey bombs it to the catcher and he beats the struggling klesko by a hair. it was the best game ever, the best way to end any kind of series! especially when a friend is there to witness it (1st hand, lol)
