    Re: Features over Gameplay?

When will a game have foul tips? I don't really say what High Heat has is considered foul tips.

no it hasn't all previews have said the gameplay remained basically the same and all that i have seen is different is they put a big arrow for when you bunt and i think they changed the cursor image....

The problem with preivews is that you have reviewers who may not know baseball well, may not have actually played the game (a lot of times they just make stuff up, I kid you not), and who may think any "innovative ideas" from EA (such as, "hey, let's do pitching like kickoffs--people would love the chance to do 120 kickoffs a game if they could") are sent down by God himself.

Hey now, fat, Madden has done just fine with kick meters...why not put it in Triple Play, I mean, MVP?
I won't judge it until I try it. And then I won't post my opinion if I don't like it.

Hey FP, just to hit on the point you make about reviewers winging it, more than once I have seen reviewers compare the pitch meter to the Outlaw Golf. If they were really sports gamers wouldnt the most immediate thought be the kick meter in Madden or NCAA and not Outlaw Golf
