I just don't see how you people can accept the lack of quality found on todays games.

It's us acepting the bugs that keeps developers from fixing them and releasing a quality product.

I like HH a lot, always have, but a few of the bugs should have, and could have been found, and fixed prior to it's release. Keep putting up with it and they'll remain lazy.

I agree for the most part but I think you have a real lack of understanding on what goes in to software development.

I lost the black cover to my 2600 joystick every time. They usually lasted about a week or so. But it was easier to play summer games on my Commodore 64 without it .

I broke a few playing that damn game. Would turn it upside down and press the joystick into the floor and grab the base and go to town !

It was that friggin 100 meters race. It killed so many joysticks it was ridiculous. At my age if I tried to play that game, I think I would break a wrist or a hip or something.

You're right, I have no idea, but with that difficulty comes hours and hours of quality assurance and testing. To think they did all that and just ignored some of the things we've all seen in less than a week, it's just hard to understand. Especially when, a few little things that could have been change could have made this one of the best sports games of all time.

Oh well, I still really dig the game and I will just overlook it. I cant afford to bye every title, so I'll stick with it.

I think FatP ( who is developer) probably hit it on the head. They made a late change to the code, and it slipped through the last bit of testing. I've seen it happen before and it is somewhat common, but at least when it happened where I worked it was a pc problem and a rev/ or patch was easy to release.
