Didn't last year's manual say it took 9 pitches to fully warm up a reliever and mound visit counted for four picthes?

I checked out the CPU when they warmed a pitcher. And they went in after 3 batters. So I say 2 batters and a mound visit is enough.

You can check out the status of the picher in the bullpen. There is some type of energy level icon that shows if he is ready or not. I used this in a recent game that I played. It seems that the pitcher is ready within either 2 at bats or 5-10 pitches, on average.

I see zero evidence of any kind of bar or meter that tells if the pitcher is warmed up. If you see it, explain where it is.

                        blaise,
In real life you DO know, they use the bullpen phone to communicate with each other or someone will waive from the pen to the dugout.
do it when you're batting or a couple hitters before you wanna bring him in and you should be fine.

is it possible to warm your guy up for too long?

I think so, a pop up screen comes up and says "player X" is getting tired and will sit down.
There just seems to be too many unknowns to deal with this game.
