There's a quick-game option in 03 that skipped the catcher throwback, the batter walk-up and the cut scenes.
Did anyone that used this option still find the game too long?
        Just curious.

It took me about 30 min to play normally. I could play 3 in about and hour and 45 min.

I probably have seen this posted but didnt realise...can we play shortend season or just 162 games ?

                        Re: Game Length

I played on the fastest setting last year and it didn't really speed the game up much. I found myself drifting mentally about the 5th inning. It was an effort to complete a whole game -- even if it was close. So the question is -- shame on me? Or shame on the game for not keeping my attention.

                            Both.

Shame on you because real baseball IS tedious.

Shame on them for not accounting for the A.D.D. afflicted.

ASB plays like real baseball. Slow and leisurely. They SHOULD speed up the quick-game mode though. Sometimes you just want a quickie before work/school/listening to the wife blabber....

                                ^ How true.

I'm really excited about the in game saves this year, too.
Last year, thats what I missed most, because half the time I started a game, but couldnt finish, so had to restart the game later.
