Man we traded him just in time!!!!

We got so many players on that list, but the Orioles still suck.

Unfortunately, that particular bubble has already been burst for me. I've heard from several sources that Carter was one the biggest a-holes in baseball. Big smile when the camera was on, total dick when it wasn't.

Maybe so, but it is much easier to sit back now and say would've.

The next report will have Luke Scott and Matt Albers. LOL

I've run into him a couple times here in KC and never had any issues with him. Unless he's in a hurry, he's been willing to talk to people. I ran into him at an Applebee's once, and even though he was eating with what I assume was his family, he still stopped and talked to people that came up to him.

So what do you think Bud Selig is going to say?

I've heard those stories too but he does seem like a nice guy for the most part. Remember said sources could've met up with Carter on a bad day.

That's neither here nor there. Besides, i'll always love the guy for hitting that HR in '93 even if he's a prick.

I don't buy it for a minute. You don't think the Astros have their own "guys" that know this stuff. I don't think the O's front office had any insider information, nor do I think the Astros front office is THAT DUMB to trade for a player they KNOW will be on the report the day after.

I agree completely, but after the small amount of info we got from Mitchell, I'm not expecting much from Selig.

I feel like I just went on a blind date with a chick that was supposed to be the hottest thing ever, and turned out to be a 250 pound fatty.

Scott it really doesn't matter is he was or not, he's being indited for lying to congress about using them, whether he's on the list or not, we know he's guilty.

Re: Mitchell's report to reveal many names

One of the dangers of this report is that there's a good chunk of the gullible, ignorant American public who will believe that these are the only players who were using steroids because they were the only ones named.

Truth is, this is the tip of the proverbial iceberg. If you think McGwire and Sosa are clean because they weren't in this report, well, maybe there is a chance China could win an award from the Sierra Club as the cleanest, least-polluting nation on Earth after all.

                                Take care,
