you guys probably will end up not believin me, but the quote:

"We need to see more of that girl Vida from your lingerie spread. Her *** is bangin'" is actually from an email I sent to FHM right after I saw the lingerie issue that had the once unknown Vida Guerra gracing the pages of FHM.

I was so excited when they quoted me, but even more excited when I saw the three pictures that followed!

That girl is beautiful and has the perfect body.

    sorry to get off topic...

Well the batting pitching interface in MVP worries me because it makes hitting too simple. We will not know this for sure however until the game is released and people have played for a week a two. Do not forget that Slugfest sales were quite impressive last year and there are many people who enojoy scoring 30 runs and 40 to 50 hits in a baseball game. I still do not think that EA is ready to concede this market crowd to Midway.

Part of the Operation Sports Interview with EA:

Operation Sports: How long has the game been in development?
Brent/Jason: When it goes out the door it will have been over a year and a half.

Operation Sports: How big is the development team?
Brent/Jason: The team has varied in size at different points of the project. It has been as high as 70+ at peak times, and has averaged around 60.

Operation Sports: Why did EA feel that a name change was needed?
Brent/Jason: The old Triple Play series had a good run, but basically ran its course. This is a completely new game from the ground up, and does not share one single line of code from TP. MVP Baseball 2003 is completely new in every respect and deserved its own name.

Operation Sports: Why was the game given to a new development team?
Brent/Jason: EA wanted the game done in-house so that we had as much control as possible over getting it done right.

if you hate EA just because its EA and not because of the content of its software
then you my friends are company-ists.

you are no better then rascists or sexists.

recant your ways and befriend your inner love!

Amen preacher! Nah, I don't hate EA. I don't agree with some of the people that work for EA, but I've got a few friend that used to work and a couple that still work for/with EA. It just my perception of a fanbase mindset that just get to me. It's all good.

What I feel is that many people are victims of great advertising coming from EA Sports. I understand why people would want to check it out, but not make it their 1st choice since it is a 1st year title. Baseball is the sport where there is the most competition, and by that I mean the most titles which are going to be released. Why are so many people already saying MVP will be the best when it is only its 1st year.

I am skeptical; I do not believe that they will be able to make their game the best year simulation in their 1st year, considering that baseball is the most complex sport to emulate on a video game. If they are able to do it it will be impressive, but I just don't see it happening.
