I think everyone agrees with that. It's just that TBS HD wasn't offered by many cable companies until very recently.

Two west-coast teams that have been in existence for less that 15 years, I can't think of a bigger ratings bomb for a LCS.

The ALCS actually got a higher rating than MNF last night, surprising.

Most people live on the east coast, and most people aren't staying up past midnight watching two teams they might know five total players on. Not suprising at all. Arizona couldn't even sell out their game, so there isn't even interest over there, let alone 2000 miles away.

Seriously, the Rockies story is great and all...but I can get that story reading an article in the morning and that doesn't waste three-plus hours watching two teams I really couldn't care less about. If the Sox aren't in the WS, I won't watch a single minute of it either, honestly.

I don't watch the game because I am usually at work. I was off yesterday and watched the Rockies vs. DBacks game. I would watch any 2 teams play baseball in the regular season and especially in the playoffs. It's the playoffs for crying out loud.

The shine is off Eli Manning and the Giants and the Falcons are dead in the water right now. I can't imagine there was much interest in that game. Even my non-baseball friends who usually come out for Monday Night Football didn't want to watch it (not that that really means anything).

Oh I know it was a terrible match up, but still it was the Giants and it's MNF. Baseball hardly ever beats football in the ratings.

BTW i'm surprised some of you are here complaining about the lack of TBS HD. As others have confirmed all you had to do was call your cable company. It's the time honored trick of dangling an incentive to people and then telling them "you can't get it until you call your cable operator"

This seems to be happening a lot whether it be the NFL and NFLN or The Big Ten Network. (altho they have it backwards by taking away what everyone got for free then demanding you to buy it)

The game in question ended at 2:46am EDT. Is anyone really surprised?

I've never really understood why people on sports boards care about TV ratings anyway (assuming there are no TBS or MLB execs present). Would it make anyone in this thread feel better about themselves or vindicated somehow if the ratings for this series were tremendous?
