    WOOO!! No Hitter!!

    To put it simply, WOW.

I just played a game in my Red Sox franchise against the Blue Jays and threw an incredible no hitter with Pedro. For future reference, it's on All Star difficulty with a couple tweaked sliders such as foul balls 2 clicks right, but none of the pitching sliders are tweaked, so this was an authentic No-No, not one helped by sliders.

I won the game 4-0 with Manny and Nixon having long bombs, but the story of the game was obviously Pedro's no-no. Funny thing is, it might of been a perfect game if I hadn't beamed the first batter I faced

Pedro was absolutely untouchable, as only 4 balls left the infield. One of the outs in the 3rd inning however, was incredible. Hinske blasted one to dead center, but I got there just in time with Damon to take his Homer away. Thank god.

Also, for further reference, this game is not easy at all to pitch in on All Star difficulty.. Three of my starters are sub .500, and the only only two above .500 are Pedro and Lowe.

I got scared to death though in the 8th inning. With two outs, don't remember who the hitter was, but he lined a shot down the left field line. It would have been gone, but it barely went foul.

All in all, it was one of the best pitching performances I have ever had. I have never dominated a game like I just did pitching wise. Only person to make really solid contact were Hinske and the guy in the 8th I don't remember.

I just thought I would share this feat, considering a lot of talk lately has been on the so called bugs in the game, so I figured I would try to lighten the mood with my story

Anyone else have some great accomplishments in this game as of yet?

Congratulations! That's quite an accomplishment. Most baseball games are very offensive happy, so i'm sure it wasn't easy.

And you couldn't have picked a better pitcher to do it with

Congrats!! Watch out though, I pitched a 5 hit shoutout with Pedro my first ime out against TB and then got touched for 4 runs through 7 innings against Baltimore and lost 4-3.

Sweet sweet sweet...Look in the season news and see if he's the only one. So far I have 2 one hitters in the news, and he's one of them.

            Awesome stuff.

Nice! Congrats! I, however, have a different story. Last night, I ALMOST got no-hit by Florida's Mark Redman.... I was playing as the Dodgers with Nomo pitching (All-Star level).

Nomo had a good game (8 IP, 0 ER, 6 hits) but for some reason I could not touch anything Redman was throwing at me (10Ks!!). The score was 0-0 going into the 8th and Redman still had a no-hitter going. Then after 2 outs, Beltre finally hit one out of the park!! I won 1-0. Redman was the loser although he threw a 1-hitter! INCREDIBLE

Way to go. I, too, almost got no-hit. I am playing on MVP with some tweaked sliders. I am the Astros and in my 1st game vs the Rockies, I was shut out 3-0. The cool thing about this is that the stats were pretty realistic. CPU scored 3 runs on 8 hits and I only managed 4 hits. I struck out 10 times and the CPU 8. No errors and no BB. I was considering returning the game after all of the negative or weak comments about the game. Not anymore! Long live High Heat. Again, Congrats on the No-No.

Nice work. I don't think I've ever thrown a no hitter in many years of baseball games.

The best I've done this year though is a 4 hitter with Rodrigo Lopez on MVP against the Marlins.

Lopez vs Burnett, both pitchers gave up only 4 hits each, and I won the game 1-0. It was definitely a great game.
