    Re: WOOO!! No Hitter!!

This game is great! I started a seson, though I will restart when a finished roster is put out. I am playing with the Pirates and in Game 1 at Cincy, I blow a 5 run lead and lose in the 9th, 11-10. A very unusual game for me in High Heat, as most of mine are low-scoring affairs. I play on All-Star with the only tweak being foul balls up 2. I also put Sim up 2. Giles hit 3 bombs in the game, but my bullpen just got crushed. It seems when it rains it pours. I couldn't get anyone out in the 8th and 9th. 2nd game of the series, I throw a combined shutout. Kip Wells goes 7, Sauerbeck 1, and Mike Williams, 1 for the save. Sauerbeck and Williams were two that got blasted the day before. In the third game of my series, I was shutout 3-0 by Chris Reitsma, who is just plain nasty in this game. He mixes his speeds well and has a nasty cutter. Anyway, these 3 games are exaclty why I LOVE High Heat. An 11-10 shootout, and then two shutouts. No games are the same, it is soooo real!

                Re: WOOO!! No Hitter!!

I just had a classic pitchers duel between my O's and the BoSox...

Unbelievably, it was between Casey Fossum and Jason Johnson. Fossum was incredible for eight innings, only allowing 2 hits and striking out 9. Johnson was, for once, incredibly very good, letting up only 6 hits and 2 walks through nine innings of work...

Bottom of the ninth, Melvin Mora up and he crushes Fossum's fastball deep to center field and it's gone!!! 420 foot homerun! O's win 1-0! Johnson gets the shutout!

It was an amazing game, especially when they showed Mora going out for a curtain call from the dugout, while waving at the fans who are cheering wildly (very cool animation from HH this year). These are the kind of games which make HH the greatest!
