When he steps into shea next year, though, he will be heavily booed and I hope D. Wright and the Boys send him back to Atlanta with a loss.
I'm with you. I think Glavine is pure class and very professional.
However....I just felt like he was gonna get plastered every other start. He had a good stretch in the middle of the season, but I had no confidence in him for that must win game for some reason. Then I saw why

    Good luck!

I guess this past year really soured me on him.. I had much respect when he was a Brave and happy he became a Met.. but last year he changed in my view.. I really think his last game, plus his comments (that took him a few hours to say) really rankled me and may Met fans the wrong way..

At least he wont have Mota around to blow games for him

He was a hired gun, plain and simple... And he turned into a freaking water pistol in that last game against the Fish. The comments afterwards? Ridiculous... Someone as media savvy as Glavine should know better to say crap like that, especially in NY. I knew afterwards that there was NO WAY he could return to pitch for the Mets.

I compare what he said to what Hoffman said after losing to the Rockies in the one game play-in.. Hoff was so full of emotion while Tom was like "who cares"..

oh well... now he can rejoin Smoltz in those "chicks dig the longball" commericals

Actually it was Smoltz and Maddux that did those commercials for the most part.
