i like that the fans hang K signs over the stands (the same as the amount of strikeouts the pitcher has! Also at Pac Bell I noticed they have a sign that keeps track of how many HRs go into the water. It starts at 24 at the beginning of the season. Im still in spring training with the Giants so I havent had a game at PacBell but I hope it adds to the total throughout the year !!!

I let the game sit for a while last night while i went to let the dog out. I came back to hear the announcers going into a long diatribe about Pete Rose, and how he should be in the HOF. I then let it sit for a few more mintues and they went on to talk about all sorts of things from certain teams of last yearh, to players, to all sorts of baseball factoids. That was a REALLY cool touch!

Something I seen today surprised me and made me happy....I had no outs with a man on 3rd and my pitcher was up. I was aggressively leading off 3rd ( stupid me ) and after the first pitch low and away to my batter, the catcher fires down to 3rd catching me playing pocket pool off the base......The 3rd basemen easily applied the tag to my baserunner...I thought that was kinda cool and I dont remember the catcher throwing down to the bases last year to try and pick off runners. Also, when the catcher throws one down, I figured out that you have to manually control your baserunner back to the base but when the pitcher attempts pickoffs, it will automatically send your runner back to the bag. At least this is what I have observed on 2 catcher throws and various pitcher pickoff attempts.

Hey do they still have the score ticker that shows scores around the league like in last year where u would pause it then the ticker would appear?
And the scoreboards on the wall that show outof town scores are those right like last year the numbers were on slants and stuff?

Yeah I aws wondering if the scoreboards have been fixed as well. It was cool to see that they were wroking scoreboards, but the scores looked like they were in chinese or something!! Hope this is fixed

A couple things in my franchise spring training game. I'm going against Pedro Martinez, and he is throwing a no hitter through 7 innings, the announcer mentioned it, but I broke it up in the bottom of the 8th, and the crowd started booing. Also, since Maddux got roped I subbed him out in the 5th, and threw Rocker in around the 7th just for giggles, he came running from the bullpen.

BTW, pedro owns me. Eventually I just started hacking away. Any tips on hitting him would be appreciated.
