Pitch types

How many different types of breaking balls are there? What I mean is what is the variance of the curve balls i.e. are there big swooping curves, 12/6 curves etc.

I dont have this years game, bu tjudging from last years game, there arent any specialized curves and such. If Joe Pitcher has a curve its gonna be basic, but if you have Zito out there, his curve will be a big swooping type curve

thanks for answering. Zito was actually the pitcher I was thinking about when I posted this question because the movement on his curve is just sick.

there's a lot of pitch types, and there are a lot of grades for them, so you can have a 12/6 curve, or some wussy break on the ball.

yea I kinda figured it would be in the higher end because very few pitchers can throw that one well.
