I guess if Enc doesn't come back, he has a shot, and he sounds like a guy who could come out of nowhere, also J Rod has a shot this year as well. We are stacked in the Outfield.
Last year we carried 6 OF (Ludwick, Skip, Duncan, Edmonds, So, Encarnacion made the team out of spring training), I'll be shocked if Barton doesn't stick with us.

As it stands the guys looking good to make the roster are all left handed in the OF (besides Ludwick) no way Tony only carries one right handed hitting OF, and I'm fairly sure we released JRod a couple weeks ago.

I project our opening day OF's on the roster to be:

    LF - Chris Duncan (L)
    CF - Jim Edmonds (L)
    RF - Rick Ankiel (L)

    Bench:
Ryan Ludwick (R - primary backup to all 3 spots)
    Skip Schumaker (L)
    Brian Barton (R)

Whether or not he sticks all year remains to be seen (although once again I'll be shocked if he doesn't based solely on Edmonds inability to stay healthy) so he could be returned, but I doubt its any time before the season begins.
    Favorite Teams:
NCAA- University of Illinois Fighting Illini
    NFL- Cleveland Browns
    MLB- St. Louis Cardinals
    NBA- Boston Celtics
    NHL- Chicago Blackhawks
