want to see a reason why auto dive in MVP is good?

look at the 4th video on this site at the end it has an awesome diving animation that isn't possible without auto dive

EDIT: at first i accidently put sportsgamingnetwork.com i meant it was from the videos on this site

I'm sure you could have all sorts of neat animations by automating actions in the game. Still doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Why field the ball at all when animation wise the CPU could do it better? The whole point is that it's a challenge for the user to dive, leap, or hit the ball for that manner. Doesn't justify removing features in my mind. Why didn't they just make it an option you could turn off or on since I don't want the CPU playing the game for me.

As long as there is no auto fielding which there isnt, I perfer auto diving and jumping.

its not a good idea who wants to just pitch and bat thats boring. its fun to make a diving catch and turn two on your own. i will not buy this game.i have high heat 2004 and it is a good game.i also pre orderd ws2k3 i think they will end up being the best 2 out of all the games.

Again, you're not just pitching and batting. The only thing that's automatic is the DIVING! You still have to FIELD the ball on your own outside of that.

Again, you're not just pitching and batting. The only thing that's automatic is the DIVING! You still have to FIELD the ball on your own outside of that.
