Anywho Tejada is only short term in Houston. He'll be back in the AL in 2 years when he's a DH only type.

I thought the Angels would have grabbed Tejada since they lost Cabrera. I guess they hope Wood is ready.

How is this not a great deal for Tejada? He now plays in another player-friendly park, but in a new city, which will make him happy and possibly add production.

Plus, the Houston park favors right-handed batters dramatically. I see 35+ and 105+ this year.

Albers and Patton are decent prospects looking at their numbers, Sarfate has a 14/1 K/BB ratio in his short MLB career. Costanzo seems like a power hitting 3rd basemen which the O's do need.

Overall it's probably not a half bad deal for both teams.

It drops right before the Mitchell report too, so Tejada's value can't take too much of a hit if he is implicated.

Good deal for the Twins, one less player the Angels/Dodgers were interested in. Ship some of those prospects this way, I know you're just itching to make a big deal.
