Re: Updates of the New Yankee Stadium, and Citi Field
Who sponsored Citi Field? Citibank or Bank of America?Cost of Super Bowl XLII ticket -$750
Trip from NYC to Glendale, Arizona -$650
Vintage Eli Manning jersey -$230
Picturing the faces of Chargers' fans and certain studio analysts as they watch Eli play in the Super Bowl XLII from their respective homes, or for some - a television studio - Priceless. -

Personal opinion: I think its a shame they are tearing down Yankee Stadium. The USA has absolutely no love for its historical buildings. The Yankee organization is making money hand over fist & its an absolute shame to tear down a building getting filled every night so that they can spend tax dollars to build a new one.Originally posted by VP Richard M. Both places are gonna lose that "real fan" feel to it. With the additions of the suite and boxes, it's gonna be more of a corporate affair, with the average Joe being priced out of a ticket.Comment

I love the outside architecture. The nod to the old school stadiums. But those glass windows in straight center are ugly."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Plus I think there's less seats in the new stadium, which doesn't make that much sense when they sell out so much.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

I didn't bother to read the articles, just looked at the pictures so forgive me for that. But I'm wondering, what baseball season are these stadiums projected to be open by? Thanks.Comment
