Updates of the New Yankee Stadium, and Citi Field

For the new Yankee Stadium go here.

and for Citi Field go here.

    and here..

I have to say they both look great. Citi reminds me of Camden Yards, while Yankee Stadium, reminds me of, well, Yankee Stadium.

Who sponsored Citi Field? Citibank or Bank of America?
Cost of Super Bowl XLII ticket -$750
Trip from NYC to Glendale, Arizona -$650
    Vintage Eli Manning jersey -$230
Picturing the faces of Chargers' fans and certain studio analysts as they watch Eli play in the Super Bowl XLII from their respective homes, or for some - a television studio - Priceless.

Personal opinion: I think its a shame they are tearing down Yankee Stadium. The USA has absolutely no love for its historical buildings. The Yankee organization is making money hand over fist & its an absolute shame to tear down a building getting filled every night so that they can spend tax dollars to build a new one.

So do I, if it were up to me, I'd rather the Yankees stay where they are. With that said, I think the new place is starting to look great, hopefully it will turn out to be a great place to watch a game.

Both places are gonna lose that "real fan" feel to it. With the additions of the suite and boxes, it's gonna be more of a corporate affair, with the average Joe being priced out of a ticket.

I gotta tell you, those luxury suites in centerfield in the New Yankee Stadium are hideous.

I love the outside architecture. The nod to the old school stadiums. But those glass windows in straight center are ugly.

Agreed all the history in Yankee stadium, it sad they are getting rid of it. Im not even a Yankees fan, but I believe that something that historical shouldnt be tore down.

Yea I love the outside, but I'm not a big fan of the inside. Centerfield looks bad, and I don't like that the upper deck looks so far away. I know now we have to deal with obstructed view seating, but I'd rather that and have the fans be right on top of the field.

Plus I think there's less seats in the new stadium, which doesn't make that much sense when they sell out so much.

It will when they can charge more.

I didn't bother to read the articles, just looked at the pictures so forgive me for that. But I'm wondering, what baseball season are these stadiums projected to be open by? Thanks.
