if you could change the play by play man for WSB,who would you pick? Rex Hudler as color man should help,but Ted just doesn't have it. Hell, he got fired by High Heat. Tom Hamilton,Cleveland's radio voice would be my choice,or perhaps they could get Ernie Harwell. Is he still doin Broadcast Blast? Anyone remember Old Tyme baseball? I think you had your choice of 3 announcers in that game.

Mel Allen did TWIB...he would be a good choice.
Personally, even though I know everyone will disagree, I would want Tim McCarver. Actually...I take that back. I love him on TV and I'd want to have him write the dialogue, but he has an abrasive voice. How about Barry White? How about his voice on the play-by-play?

the TWIB guy was Mel Allen a former radio guy for the Yankees he died a few years ago. Hmm, if I had to pick someone to replace Ted Robinson it would be someone that is similar in sound and age to Rex Hudler, probably Chip Carey (Harry Carey's son I think that's his name) or for a long shot the Jays TV voice Rob Faulds.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
