    Re: Interesting tidbit reguarding MVP

LOL Some of your posts here are ridiculous. You talk about EA like they are trying to spoil games for everyone. SO Madden and Ncaa are spoiling the football genere. I think if these games weren't out i don't know what i would do. I HATE Sega football and Fever so I would be screwed I guess. Let's play the game before we play it and Graphik don't buy the game and let it be, don't try to persuade people to buy the game you like just because you don't like EA, you sound like you work for SEGA or something.

I agree, as I did before, that EA puts out a lot of inferior games. However, I don't see it is them "falling off". I think it's more that the competitor's games have gotten a lot better over the years

      <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Since you say a lot of the competitors games has gotten better, EA hasn't taken their games to another level. You don't see a problem with this? I agree with Graphik, they have been falling off. Why do you think they scrapped the Live Series and started over...the Triple Play series. Look how long it's taken them to recognize that competitors have gotten better. While the competiton was just getting its feet wet, EA could continue to put out crap. They can't do that anymore. I've been a Madden player from the beginning, well not the beginning because it was first on PC...but since it was first on Sega Genesis. I bought Madden this year...loved it. Okay...I got an xbox in November and around that time Circuit City had NFL 2K3 for 19.99 on xbox. I picked it up, took it home...played for 10 minutes....HATED IT! Since I got live, I decided to give it another shot. I'm finding that this game is on the same level with Madden. It's better than Madden in some areas.

It used to be, anything that EA puts out. I'm picking it up because I knew it would be good. Today, I'm skeptical, because EA has been falling off. Did you buy NBA Live 2001 when the PS2 first came out...that's a perfect example...how could EA ruin such a great franchise?

Sega is stepping it up with their sports games...it EA wants my 50 bucks...EA better answer the call! I know i'm only one person, but that's one more sale that they could have if they put out a good product.

Here goes another person claiming I'm a Sega fanboy.

Honestly, I had intentions to buy MVP the first day it came out. Just like I buy all my sports games. That includes Madden, Live, NBA 2k3, NHL 2k3, HH 2004, ASB 2004. And I was gonna pick up WSB and MVP since they came out at the same time.
I'm not tryna steer anyone into not liking EA. I said persnally I dont trust them. Especially since the last 2-3 years of EA games IMO have been mediocore. And you know damn well I'm not talking about Madden or NCAA.
Believe me, I use to be the biggest EA fan on the planet until I start venturing out to other companies and realizing how effordless EA games are.

And tell me, just like you mentioned, is'nt Madden and NCAA the only great games from EA in the last few years.

Graphix, you don't sound like a sega fanboy you sound like an EA *****. Which is just as annoying, go cry in the corner and let people have an open mind. Not everyone always makes good games or bad games. I dont like nintendo but Miyamoto basically made great games until the new zelda which i think looks like garbage. So you cant expect a company to never make a bad game. By the way nhl is also in my opinion a great series and EA (and everyone else for that matter) makes games the way that they think the most people will want to buy them not just for one person. So what you think is not improving a game much others might buy just because of what they did add, remember that.

Bama, Graphik is entitled to his opinion, like you. Personally i think we all have a better understanding of his statement now than before. My humble advice is that you, and your 2 post tread very carefully around this guy, before he tries to eat you alive.

Be respectful man, and it will get you alot of props areound here. Disrespect, and it will get you banned.

BTW - How is the new Zelda garbage? If you dont like the graphical style, thats cool, personally I didnt either. After sitting down with the demo for a good 45, I realized that this is the same old zelda. The graphics are sharp, and give you the feel of a very convincing world. Kids today are caught up in the graphics too much, and they miss out on great experiences because if it.
