      It's a fantasy list. Don't care much about it. Besides, the division and MVP honors mean more.

        Matt Holliday has one breakout year and everyone wants him to be the messiah. I like Holliday and agree he'll be a great player but not Number one just yet.

        They dissed Vlad because of an injury filled year. That's just wrong.

        People need to stop praising Sizemore. How many years of average seasons does he need to have before people stop guessing he'll have an MVP-caliber year? Every year it's the same thing with him. He's been nominated a favorite to win MVP I think every year for the past three seasons and all he's done is career highs of .290, 28 HR, 81 RBI, 33 SB. Boredom. Again, good player but not top 5 or an MVP. Sorry.

        It is obvious however that defense didn't matter in this list. I think Lowell is getting overrated by peers and fans but he's better than middle of the pack.

        And I'm surprised ESPN took their heads out of their butts to give Bedard the number three spot. Never would have seen that from them.
        If I get 1st pick in my NL fantasy league I'm gonna take Matt Holliday no question.
