the thing about basing your buy on what the poeple on this forumn say is that so many poeple are die hards for either sega or ea. not that the people on this forumn don't have good opinions, its just hard to sort out which are the non-biased objection opinions sometimes. plus these are both going to be good games and you'll be jerked back and forth between the handfull that swear that wsb is god's gift to baseball gamers and a handfull that say the same thing about mvp. it willl be a matter of personal taste. if the store you buy your games at doesn't have a good return policy then rent both before you buy. i will pick mvp up and EB where i will have fourteen days to decide wether or not i should take it back and give wsb a shot.

I love ASB but I also loved WSB last year and am picking it up no matter what, I just can not see how WSB's franchise is as deep as All-Star baseballs. I wish it was though. I love how deep the franchise is in ASB but the Menus and layout is confusing at times, WSB is much better in that department but I have do not think their franchise having the depth that ASB does.

Btw GMR magazine said it has the best presentation and deepest franchise out of all baseball games....

I read the review and I am definitely getting it

I loved WSB last year and hearing how improved the gameplay and franchise modes are is awesome

Now I have read about ASB's franchise mode, and it sounds very deep, but I love the Hall of Fame aspect of WSB

It looks like a sweet game and I can't wait

i read the review and it stated that the AI is much improved over last year. For instance, lets say Ichiro singles to right and you try to make a play at first base. Well Ichiro will keep going to second. The AI recognizes that you shouldnt be throwing the ball to first and they take advantage of it. That's insane, i got to see it to believe it

that isn't what i would call aggressive base running, last year that was the only way runners would take the extra base was if you threw to the wrong base by accident, i'm wanting to know if a runner will go to third on a single to right or centre field or try to score from second on a hit, last year they would never, cpu would end up with say 13 hits and always 1 or 2 runs because of poor baserunning AI
