Broken bats is totally unnecessary. if the gameplay is anywhere as good as they say I will be pleasantly surprised.

No offense, I just am very very cautious about this game after the DC and last years versions. Last year was great for a week, then got old. Seems like my biggest gripes have been fixed thoug.

They are there, but probably a little less common than you'd actually see them. Maybe once every 2 games total. They happen more the further away from the strike zone your pitch is, so if you're piping everything, you'll hardly ever see them.

i've had the last three world series games and all were dissapointing, last years started out good until you realized the baserunners never took the extra base (well almost never), throwing to first on a hit and seeing the runner advance to second isn't what i would call aggressive base running, i want to see runners scoring from second on hits, from first on a double in the gap, going from first to third on hits, that is aggressve running, do we see this on a consistent basis in this game along with better cpu hitting or will we be let down again, from what i hear this years is supposed to be better, Fatpitcher please say all of this is in this years game because i really want it to be good

oxm says that theres too many wild pitches when trying to intentional walk, is that true?

No, there's a handy Pitchout button (Square-Ps2, X-Xbox) that allows you to pitch out or do an intentional walk without losing stamina or risking a wild pitch.

Baserunning is much better this year, but some people may say it's still not aggressive enough. Nowhere near the problem it was before though...now it's very debatable

Yeah, I must say that it is funny how Hilary can make a 6 page review with very little information given. IGN needs to learn to write shorter reviews with more information in them. Hilary is the worst offender, but the disease seems to have spread to the other IGN sites as well.
