    Worst pitcher in baseball.

I nominate Mark Redman of the Rockies, who gave up 10 ER in the first inning of yesterday's game against the Dodgers.

    Can't forget about Zito either.

Mark Redman was the player that came to mind when I read the thread title.

I think this was a thread last year and Redman's name floated around a lot. Good to see somethings never change.

maybe not the worst, but up there, Derrick Turnblow, guy walks at least 2 guys per innings pitched

I honestly don't know why people keep signing Redman at this point. There has to be better options out there than him, even for a bottom tier starter.

Well he was an All-Star and the Royals pitcher of the year in 2006.

Him being 11-10 with a 5.71 ERA that season doesn't mean anything. He was still an All-Star and pitcher of the year, and that's all that counts. Right?

Hey, I'm trying to find some logic here.

That exact comment was made about Redman last year too.

I didn't realize how bad Zito really was. He's only the third pitcher since 1956 to lose his first six decisions before May.

He was also demoted to the bullpen today. So that's how many $$$$ per loss?
