Worst pitcher in baseball.
I nominate Mark Redman of the Rockies, who gave up 10 ER in the first inning of yesterday's game against the Dodgers.

Re: Worst pitcher in baseball.
I think this was a thread last year and Redman's name floated around a lot. Good to see somethings never change.Comment

I honestly don't know why people keep signing Redman at this point. There has to be better options out there than him, even for a bottom tier starter.Comment

Re: Worst pitcher in baseball.
Him being 11-10 with a 5.71 ERA that season doesn't mean anything. He was still an All-Star and pitcher of the year, and that's all that counts. Right?
Hey, I'm trying to find some logic here.Comment

Re: Worst pitcher in baseball.
I didn't realize how bad Zito really was. He's only the third pitcher since 1956 to lose his first six decisions before May.
He was also demoted to the bullpen today. So that's how many $$$$ per loss?Last edited by Chip Douglass; 04-28-2008, 11:13 PM.I write things on the Internet.
