Agreed Pauly. I don't consider once a decade or so "from time to time." Even if the CPU doesn't get you, the fact that it even tries to throw you out at first is not good at all.

If you think this happens more than once every 20 or 30 years, you need to stick with paying attention to video games. because baseball logic isnt in your vocabulary.

from http://www.bravesnews.com/april/02/surhoff.shtml
It is a play that you rarely see. But it helped the Braves avoid a series sweep against the New York Mets on Wednesday.
With the Braves already down 1-0, right fielder B.J. Surhoff threw out Mets pitcher Jeff D'Amico at first base on a one-hopper that looked like it was going to be an RBI single.
The weird play ended the second inning and the Braves won 2-1, snapping a four-game losing streak and making their record 2-4 against the Mets.
Asked if he had ever made a similar play, Surhoff reminded questioners that it was only his third game in right field. But even if he had played there more, it's doubtful he would have done it.
The last previous time an outfielder threw out a batter at first base in the majors was on Aug. 25, 2000. That's when San Diego's Mark Kotsay caught Reds pitcher Elmer Dessens in Cincinnati.
"B.J. was alert," manager Bobby Cox said. "You've got to try it in a situation like that."

I've been watching and playing baseball since i was 6 years old.... I have seen this done once, and only because the runner over stepped the firstbase bag, and never touched it, while trying to beat out a throw in from RF. If you think this happens more than once every 20 or 30 years, you need to stick with paying attention to video games. because baseball logic isnt in your vocabulary.
