Updating the Rosters in MVP Thread

Thought this might be useful for those of us who want to get the rosters/lineups/rotations perfect before starting a season in MVP. So list here who needs to be traded to who, who needs to be released/signed, and who needs to be created. For created players, feel free to say what ratings you gave em too. That would be helpful. I'll start it off.

    1) Mark Quinn (OF) should be released by Kansas City.
    2) Kenny Rogers should be released by Texas and signed by Minnesota.

Release R. Sanders from Arizona, signed by Pittsburgh
Release J. Suppan from KC, signed by Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh's roster is already at 40. You have to release 2 players to add these guys, but I haven't checked a recent 40 man roster to see who gets cut.

What about the following players who are not part of the MLB Player's Union because they were "scab" players during Spring Training of 1995? That's why Rick Reed is not in the game.

                Brian Daubach - White Sox
                Kerry Ligtenberg - Orioles
                Damien Miller - Cubs
Benny Agbayani - Released by Red Sox
There are a couple more, but I think of them right now.

A couple more I just remembered:

Cut BJ Surhoff (ATL), sign with Baltimore
Cut Bechler (BAL), obvious reasons...too weird to keep him in the game.
Cut Person (PHIL), sign with Boston

Does anyone know where Julian Tavarez is? Pittsburgh signed him, and I thought he played for the Cubbies last year, but I can't seem to find him.

Matsui and Contreras both need to be created and signed by the Yankees.

Tavarez was traded to the Marlins early last year -- he may be the ugliest man in baseball.
