Re: Braves up to the same old dirty shenanigans
I was at the game last night and came home and saw the replay. It definitely looked like he kept his shoulder tucked in so to not open up at the risk of throwing away. Not only that but it looked like he stepped in a way to direct his throw inside.Comment

Re: Braves up to the same old dirty shenanigans
The Braves threw at Soriano last year when he had multiple HRs against them. Thats how the Braves work. Thats what they are. If they get frustrated they start throwing at guys.Comment

Wow, it was established early on in the thread that theres a history with Atlanta throwing at Cubs batters and Soriano specifically. That old school response might have some validity otherwise.Comment

Re: Braves up to the same old dirty shenanigans
One of the most rediculous accusations I've ever read. A guy who was put in to start in an emergency situation lost control of one pitch & you think he was throwing @ Soriano. Unbelievable. I watched it live on TV last night & there was no was there was any malice in that pitch. Bennett had a worried look on his face the entire time after the throw. Folks need to get a grip.Comment

Re: Braves up to the same old dirty shenanigans
Exactly. Looks to me like Bennett let a fastball get away from him that rode up and in.
Seriously, take off the Cubs glasses. You aren't seeing things clearly. Disappointment over Soriano getting injured is making you see all sorts of stuff. I've been there. I watched the Steelers take out Carson Palmer in a playoff game. I was seeing all sorts of things and had no idea what to believe.

Theres a history with the Braves, as I said. And Soriano actually doesnt get hit by pitches that often. Thats not the case against the Braves, however, especially in instances where they have a reason to be frustrated.
