But since I have read the posts, things have gone a little sour.

How can reading a post all of a sudden change the stealing in your game. You were fine for 5 games...read theses posts....now you can steal at will...??.??..??

Maybe he cannot steal at will, but read these posts and is just piling on hoping to cause trouble. I doubt that anyone can learn how to steal just reading posts, none of them have gone into much detail at all.

        3 quick questions FP.

-does pressing down hard on the throw pitch button affect velocity of the pitch?

-when batting without a cursor, does the left thumbstick do anything? like can you pull an inside pitch, etc?

-and lastly, why no frank sinatra when yankees win at home?

Not a WSB related question, but in ASB in the Mailman stadium on the mail box a note reads...Thank You for Brat Fat Pitcher. Does this have anything to do with you?

I do have one WSB question, why are the generated rookies names still not called by the announcer? I still hear the number called.

                Fat Pitcher,

Congratulations on helping to make a great game in WSB 2K3. I love the graphics/gameplay experience and the fact that you can tweak gameplay with sliders. Here are some suggestions for WSB 2K4. I know the crew will probably begin work on that soon.

                1. Add weather such as rain and snow and have it affect gameplay.
                2. Implement working retractable roofs in those stadiums that have them. Close the roof on really hot days or if precipitaion begins.
                3. Have ball physics on homeruns and foul balls. The ball could bounce around in the stands or off scoreboards and things like that.
                4. Put rain delays in with a scene of the grounds crew coveing the field with a tarp.
                5. Make the skies change from sunny to overcast and vice versa during the course of a game. Also, have shadows that move across the field.
                6. Have stealing be slightly more difficult. Get thrown out a little more or have a slider for it.
                7. Put in games that start at dusk and evolve into darkness. Like night games at Dodger stadium.
                8. More sliders for things like human power and human hitting.
                9. Slightly more broken bats, wild pitches and passed balls or maybe a slider to control their frequency.
                10. Have the crowd be more into the game and implement
                batter walkup music
                11. Occassionally having balls bounce on throws to first base from the infield.
                12. More scenes that show off the beauty of the ball parks.

WSB is already great. These changes I believe would help to make it near perfection. Thanks for all the time you put in at this forum.

I've heard this a couple of times now and since this guy actually works on the game I'm responding to it here.

Please do not add weather to a baseball game unless we're just talking about wind. We want a realistic baseball game and those aren't played in the snow or the rain. Watching a grounds crew bring the tarp out might be cool once but a waste of time every time after that.

Though 2k3 is great, there are many things that can be done to make 2k4 even better and I'd hate for time to be wasted on something that would make the game unrealistic.

i agree about the snow cause that happens very rarely. but i disagree about the rain. didnt you see that 14 ining game where giambi hit a grandslam in the poring rain? i'd love to be in that situation. i'd also love to see outfielders diving for a ball on wet grass. especially if sega implements dirty unis next year. rain would be sweet but not top priority though.

what i want next year is to be able to bat with the pitcher cam. i want better catcher animation with the pitcher cam. i want better bat swing animations. for example, Giambi and Soriano dont completely follow through with both hands on the bat. i also want my Frank Sinatra playing in Yankee stadium when i win!

I am a gamer who craves realism. In early months, games can be snowed out in places like New York, Colorado and Cleveland. Also, rain interrupts and sometimes cancels games. It would be so neat to have the roof close or see a player dive on the wet grass. This is realism....... If you didn't like it, an option to skip through these scenes could be added. Just a suggestion though.

                                FatPitcher.........couple of questions:

I'm not really into the franchise thing and play single seasons and controlling only one team. I was wondering if the CPU makes trades for other teams in season mode. I certainly hope not.

Also, do the scoreboards in places like Fenway Park show the real time score or does it stay blank like in MVP?
