Fatpitcher........Is it still too easy to steal bases in WSB 2K3? I have seen many complaints about this in the forums. CAn you reccommend anything we can do to eliminate this problem? This flaw was supposed to be fixed in WSB 2K3 and if not, it is a certain game killer for me. There is no excuse for not fixing this terrible flaw.

I don't know for sure. I do know it's easier to steal when you slow the pitch speed down or play on lower difficulties (Legend pitchers are better at holding runners on base than Rookie pitchers). I steal maybe 60% on All-Star.

I want to know if your doing a franchise and your player gets better and his rating goes up a lot if is hitting cursor gets bigger in the game to go along with is ratings? And also would his hot/cold zones stay the same?

      <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Cursor size depends on AVGL/R ratings, which do change during franchise. Hot zones, however, always stay the same.

hey fatpitch, really appreciate you answering these questions - been a huge help. Do u prefer cursor hitting on wsb or non-cursor? By any chance could u give me an idea about how the non-cursor batting works? Not really a fan of cursors myself. Thanks alot!

                  Re: FatPitcher - Questions/Comments Thread

Hi FatPitcher... I have a question related to the "Throws Strikes" slider. In the slider thread you made, you said that it controls the ratio of balls and strikes (lower slider number means CPU throws more balls). My question is two pronged:

1: What would you say is a setting that would cause the CPU to throw a realistic amount of balls and strikes?

2: Does this slider globally set a ratio to be the same for all CPU pitchers, or is the effect of this slider directly related to the control ratings of the pitcher? ie. A pitcher with great control ratings would still tend to throw more strikes at the same slider setting as a pitcher with poor control.

                  Thank you!

                      1. Depends on how many pitches out of the zone you tend to swing at. I've gotten pretty good numbers with the default setting, but I won't vouch that they mirror the MLB exactly. There are people on this board who are far, far better at that sort of thing that I am.

                      2. The second one.

FatPitcher.........I was wondering if WSB2K3 had working scoreboards like ASB. What I mean is, at Fenway Park (just an example) is the scoreboard showing the actual runs and hits of the game in progress?
