    By lining up the homers do you mean locating the ball right in the middle of the circle and hitting the power swing for a homerun? or do you mean lining the top outer circle line with the ball? Is this the same for the contact swing, as far as if you want to drive the ball in the alleys you should have the ball in the middle of the circle? Oh man thats a really big change from last year if so. I highly anticipate your reply.

      Okay, I have been quiet long enuff...

      First tthanks for spending the time answering these posts FP.

      My questions are;

      Is the PS2 version the EXACT same as the XBOX release?

      I have been really looking forward to this game, so far from what I have read the user reviews here a luke warm in some of the gameplay areas, especailly the basestealing, could you give your comments on what has been posted?

      Best,

      Molitor

          If you have custom sliders set up, will simulated games use them or will they use the default sliders for that skill level?

              Re: FatPitcher - Questions/Comments Thread

              WSB is a great game and I don't have a question , rather just a suggestion.

              It is the opinion of me and a few others I chat with on the net that WSB is pretty much a perfect game EXCEPT for the fact we are getting too many hits, even though we're playing on legend with cpu pitching abiilty sliders maxed out. I shouldn't be able to get 15-20 hits a game on this setting and neither should anyone this early after it's release.

              It's wierd because last year hitting was and still is for me a challenge but the cpu can't hit. Now the cpu can hit but it is too easy to get hits (HR's are in good proportion though).

              I would have liked the option to use the batter view from last year's game as well. I believe the game is near perfect but being too easy to hit kind of ruins it in a way. Takes away my realism factor.

              I also think I found a small glitch if you can call it that. When using power pro hitting on legend difficulty me and another person noticed that the cpu suddenly loses the abiity to hit. Try it. When I was using standard hitting the cpu was roughing me up. Then went to power pro and got 3 straight shutouts. The cpu starts hitting weak ground balls and little popups to the infield. Wierd.

              adjust the difficulty, slightly adjust the scale to make the parks seem larger, and add collision detecting on HR's and you guys have the PERFECT baseball game...No competition.

              Thanks. Hope to see NFL2K4 or some kind of treat from you guys at E3. I'll be there.

                  fat pitcher are the different levels of play hardcoded? the reason i ask is because if you are playing on all-star and adjust the sliders down are you then just going back to the lower level or will the ai stay on all-star except for the slider ratings?

                      Here's a different kind of question. I haven't heard of a Baseball Advance sequel, so have you heard anything about WSB being produced for the Game Boy Advance?

                              The more I play WSB 2K3, the more I crave a slightly smaller strike zone. It just seems that some low and high pitches that are called strikes are probably out of the zone. The game still rules though....
