Hmm, I just tried it ... I don't think it's possible. Maybe if your pitcher is really, really tired.

            Re: Pitching Tips

Just picked up the game and I love it. But I have a couple pitching questions- when is the best time to release the pitch button when it's going back towards the red- at the top of the red, middle, bottom? And how about stopping it in the green- beginning of it, middle, or end of it? Thanks in advance.

                dooch,

its press and hold to the top of the meter, then press again in the green.

So hold it until you get to the green/red release it where you want and press it when it gets back into the green.

this stategy gets me some strikeouts on pro, but it doesn't make to get me any more on all-star. i have been playing all my games against the blue jays, because they are the first team the yankees play. they have a pretty good batting rating. could this be part of my problem. would the tigers be less selective?

Yeah try the Tigers, I just played a game against them with the Whitesoxs, the #4 starter for the Socks struckout 10 Tigers in 7 innings of work. This was on All-Star.

I honestly don't know what else to tell you the above are just TIPS not gurantees. Pitching is as much about feel as it is strategy. You have to out think the hitter and keep him guessing.

So you're saying release it at the TOP of the red meter, then press it again anywhere in the green meter, or the top of the green meter?
