i had never tried all-star baseball before, so i bought the new one last weekend and it just wasn't doin' it for me. then i saw the commercial for mvp baseball and realized i'd gvotten the wrong game.

still debating. i have 13 days left to be able to trade it back in for wsb at EB. i like so much of the game. if i can figure out how to strike out the computer, i will be a keeper. strikeouts are too important a part of the game, not to be able to do.

Definitely a keeper. WSB looks pretty good too, but I can't tear myself away from MVP long enough to give it a good work out.

After playing about 5-6 games, my inital feeling is no, it feels too arcadey to me. The killer is that there is no warming up of pitchers, removing an element of strategy. Also, the hitting interface just doesn't do it for me. I'm gonna return it to EB if I can and stay w/ ASB this year.
It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic.
