I was thinking about renting WSB and then possibly trading ASB in for it. After reading so many things, I have come to the conclusion that there are less negative things to say about ASB than WSB.
Now, I don't even think I'll rent it...I'll just stick with ASB, cuz it is fun, and I am having fun with it...
Much harder than last year's...Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a ttoal jmulbe and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

I hated AB last year. Took it back 1 week after buying it. Too many trades and the outfields were really small. This year is a different story. Franchise mode alone is a blast. I only have a couple of problems with ASB:
1) Crowd is very quiet after homeruns or some big plays
2) Fielding animations/ Vacuum animations - i think a few more animatons are necessary to atleast make it look better
3) Pitching is too accurate for users
Other than those, I'm having some realistic results in ASB, the most realistic stats in any baseball game in a long time. In my franchise with the Yankees, they tend to score 7-9 runs against bad teams and score between 1-5 against great teams.
I really love the huge outfield, the commentary, the overlays, the stadiums, player models, and i like touches like the dust kicking up after slides. The franchise mode is the best ever and the game is very deep. I'm having a lot of fun and I believe that reviewers might have gotten caught up in WSB's excellent graphics and began comparing ASB to WSB. Oh well, I truly know that this game deserves atleast a 9.0.
