Ok, ok ok..... Just figured out the first to third on a single weirdness.

Drays have a man on first and the batter hits a blooping line drive to center. Instead of charging it i sit back and the runner goes from first to third.

So, if you charge, they dont go. This has some level of realism to it, so I can live with it. But, on plays where the cpu charges, i do go, and always make it. So the running COULD be more aggressive than it is.

Try recreating any of this stuff. If it doesn't happen for you please tell me exactly what you did.

Im not hating on this game, I REALLY JUST DONT WANT THIS STUFF TO BE HAPPENING IN MY GAME!

And, for the record, there is a thread down a lil ways where i discuss trading in High Heat for this game. And, for the record, i still don't regret that. And, lastly, the ******* record, I am also a staff writer for FGO, so Im not just some idiot with internet access. I am an idiot with internet access and a (barely updated) website to give me cred.

Oh, and I also have the flu, which is why my spelling and grammar is a mess.

So put that in your pipe and smoke it!

Rundowns also seem especially easy to get out of.

        When will it end?

I was playing Rangers Franchise, 2nd game; and was caught stealing with Everett (who I believe is pretty fast) and A-Rod. Also, in game 1 I caught CPU stealing and threw out. Also, 2 runs Anaheim scored were on tags. I won first game 4-3 in 12 innings, 2nd game 10-8.

If you aren't enjoying the game, my suggestion would be to stop playing it.

The whole point of games it to provide a way to get away from it all and have fun.

If a particular game isn't enjoyable and fun, I wouldn't waste your time on it.

There are plenty of games released for all consoles that you should be able to find one that brings you joy.

I haven't purchased a console baseball game yet this year, and I am not expecting perfection from any of them. Because if I went in expecting perfection, I would be let down, and thus wouldn't have fun.

                    - do you own any high heats, how much better does it do these situations?
this sounds pretty bad, so what you are telling me is that the cpu will NOT score on a single when they are on second??

                        Ok, update (and clarifications):

I can't stop playing the game because:
                        A. I dont want to.
                        B. I traded HH for it so im stuck with it (which isnt a big deal: see A).

I played about 3 more games last night after my last post. Here's what i've found.

Anything other than a shot will bring a guy on 1st to 3rd or from 2nd to home. The game where I got crushed (and thought i saw the potential flaws) i was pitching with wakefield and he was getting shelled. The cpu was hitting screaming line drives (that i thought were the norm) and I had atleast 3 times in each situation where it held the runners. Come to find out 5 games later that i havent been able to recreate that scenario.... wakefield was just getting shelled and i had my outfield lined up correctly. Yipeeee Problem solved.

As for tag ups. You do have to hit the ball deeper than you would in real life (outfielders arms are overrated) but tagups can happen. Im think that I may just for the sake of balance adjust everyone's arm (if that's possible). Hopefully the AI play accordingly to that. Problem dealt with (and possibly solved with tweaks).

Basestealing is too easy. Hopefully something will be figure out to make it better. Maybe shortening the lead beyond just default? Ill try when i get home. Problem area that can be solved.

The CPU does ignore the lead runner and that is a flaw, but the player need to manually make the runner go, so situations could be avoided. Workaround found

There is no mound visits, that sucks.... but the pitchers do warm up quicker than they do in HH so it balances out. I would still prefer mound visits but i'll live.

Can you tell im enjoying this game more? Once we find a workaround for the stealing i can stop playing this game as a scientist and just have fun with the bastard.

Oh, one last thing.... Outfielders taking bad angles on the ball (which resulted in my 3 triples in one game)...

Hasnt happened since that game. But, for the record, many people on aim have complained about this also. So it seems it is a problem, just not a common one. I can deal with that.

Yea, I got a triple yesterday cause the fielder misjudged the ball. I thought it was kinda cool. As long as it does'nt keep happening. I gave up a triple also off diving for a ball.
