    Re: WSB Weirdness

    Man, this game is whack.

Im only 3 innings into the next game and im already seeing the same sh*t.

I bumped up the options for pitch speed to be very fast for both teams and I have still stolen both bases i've tried for. And one of them, once again, was with doug mirabelli.

I also just stabbed a loop fly ball DEEP in the alley in left center, probably 360 feet from home, and the guy on third didnt tag.

Has anyone ever seen a tagup in this game? Seriously, why am i the only one this crap is happening to?

Yes, I've seen tagups. And very aggressive baserunning. If I mistakenly throw home, instead of to second on a single, the CPU will take advantage of it immediately, and go for the extra base.

I'm seeing very aggressive baserunning on Pro. I would imaging you'd see even more on All-Star.

I also don't have much luck with base stealing.

Ok, I agree there, i have thrown a couple balls to the wrong bases and the CPU is all over that. That makes me happy.

I still have yet to see a runner go from first to third, under any circumstance.

I have yet to see a runner tag up.

I have yet to see my own runner get thrown out stealing.

Seriously, I believe that you guys dont have these problems. I want to figure out what's different so I dont have them either!

Ok, ok ok..... Just figured out the first to third on a single weirdness.

Drays have a man on first and the batter hits a blooping line drive to center. Instead of charging it i sit back and the runner goes from first to third.

So, if you charge, they dont go. This has some level of realism to it, so I can live with it. But, on plays where the cpu charges, i do go, and always make it. So the running COULD be more aggressive than it is.

Good god up in heaven. Inflieders ignore the lead runner.

Just happened to me twice in a row.

Man on second, no outs, I hit a chopper up the middle. My man on second goes back to the bag but i manually make him go to third. The second basemen catches the ball and throws to first even though he has an easy play on the guy at third.

Now, with him on third, I hit a scorching ground ball at the shortstop but I make the guy on third go because im curious now. Welll, lo and behold he throws to first and then the first basemen tries to throw home (much to late).

Yeah, i know, this can be solved by me not manually making hte runners go, but stuff like this should have been worked out the first year of this engine, not the third.
