Re: The I HAVE been caught steeling thread
Nice Janes Addiction reference, truly one of the last great bands. Music is a bunch of Poop right now. As far as the stealing bug. I have played four games and been throw out numerous times. I have also gotten picked off second twice and first. I love the realism of this game and the variety of hits and overall play. If these people want perfection, put down your controller, go outside and play the game for real. I wish the word gamekiller would just go away! Whiners really make me sick!!!!!!!!!!!! Creado y regalo de Los Angeles.......Juanes Addicion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

Well Rafael Palmeiro stole second four consecutive times against Benji Molina for me in a two-game series. That's with only increasing my lead with one punch on the left trigger.
Palmeiro couldn't steal on a one-armed catcher.

Then don't send him.
If you want realism why would you send him in the first place? Realize there is a bug and restrain yourself from exploiting it, especially if you are striving for realism.
However, the reports of a stealing bug are too scattered and inconsistent for me to be a believer. I will probably end up just waiting till next week and seeing for myself, as there now seems to be two distinct sides in the stealing issue, and I don't see how it's possible both are correct.

I agree with that, but it would be a problem if the CPU can send anyone and almost always be safe. Is that a problem for anyone or are people throwing the CPU out about as much as they should be?Comment

That is a good point. Up until you posted that I had been thinking only from the "perspective" of the user.
If this also applies to the CPU being able to steal every base at wiil, there could be problems. And if that is the case, one would only hope that the players are "programmed" properly so that fast guys steal, and bigger/slower guys don't.
Good point, hopefully someone can post back with their findings in relation to CPU stealing and whether they do it at will also, or if only fast guys are generally stealing against them.Comment

I am not eve sure this is a issue at all. It could be something about nothing at all. Way too many contradictions to draw any conclusions now.
