I prefer ASB actually. But I do have MVP and WSB. WSB is a better game in my opinion. Hitting is too easy in MVP. Plus no career stats or hall of fame in MVP.

MVP--too many hits and most are all line drives--it does have some things going for it--crowd noise,atmosphere, pitching and throwing meters

The person who said wsb takes too long--isnt that what real baseball is about--strategy--finding best place to pitch. Baseball is not a fast up and down sport--maybe you would be better with slugfest 2004

I couldnt get through a game of WSB because its like 5-7 seconds between pitches and the pitcher just stands there. I get bored. MVP moves fast and also has great atmosphere. Its also pretty realistic..

Yes your right baseball is all about that. Dead time. But I dont want a baseball game to be as long between pitches as a real game. Are you kidding?

And your strategy take is wrong. Sometimes between pitches in WSB there is this delay. Its not a delay when you select what corner you want to aim the cursor. Its a delay BEFORE that screen even comes up. Even after you strategicly selected everything there is a long pause especially with men on base. If I want that, Ill go watch real baseball.

There is also something called "feel". Some games have it and some dont. MVP just "feels" right yet at the same time moves much quicker than the arguably slow pace of real baseball (at times).

Its a fine balance that I believe EA has mastered with this title.

And by the way I take the Slugfest remark as a complete insult. I am a stat and realism freak and Baseball Pro 98 is my all time favorite game. For MVP to get such kudos from me is impressive.

I think he meant Franchise, which is unlimited years.
