    JOSH HAMILTON

    is the mother ****ing man!!!

I'm gonna call him 'The Natural'...hands down

this last homer as I'm typing this...508'

    ****ing amazing.....

and the best thing about this Ruthian/Gibson power display...is that he is RELISHING EVERY moment....

to see him sign the kid's autograph between swings, to see Hanley Ramirez' very young son run out to him, to see Edison Volquez come out with the suitcase (of money-LOL), to see Big Poppi himself come out to home plate and to see the crowd at The Stadium ALL rally behind him after every at-bat...is special

    24 homers and counting......

I have to absolutely agree! that was definetly a great sight to see! and to see it in Yankee Stadium in its final year made it even more grand. A place where homeruns were basically invented by the Babe made it really special! That was simply amazin and there is no way any one couldnt pull for this guy cause of his story!

          @ TheMatrix

I knew that, but after watching him in round one alone, he SHOULD have his own...because for the rest of the night...in the final analysis, NONE of the other contestants are gonna matter....

Exactly...and to be honest....the great number of viewers...at The Stadium or on TV, have NEVER seen a power display like that anywhere....

Exactly...and to think, at first, I was not going to even watch it....
I did think Hamilton would win it, but never, never, never in my wildest dreams did I think he'd demolish the ball like he has....

One of the most awesome things I've ever seen in baseball.

Glad to see his Legion coach out there throwing to him, too and even happier to see that he has turned his life around.

just a great moment, religion is not a topic for OS, but couldn't happen to a better guy imo. to go where he has been and come all the way back from it and then some. just a great story. and he is humble to boot..

Yep, that is the problem when you hit too many. You get tired real fast. Cost him the derby, but oh well. Still was fun to watch.

Truly inspirational. Thanking the man was great. And his batting practice pitcher, WOW! I can barely throw a ball across the street and this guy was chucking bullets down the center of the plate. One of the best baseball moments I've seen in a long time.
